Respond To Text One Friday Morning – John @ Pt England School

This is my respond to text for this week. We have been reading the book, One Friday Morning By Langston Hughes. Here are some questions that I have to answer. Enjoy!

Malo e lelei and Talofa Lava! Welcome to my Blog! My name is John and I am a Year 7 student in Team 5 at Point England School! I am a Tongan and Samoan boy who lives in a household of 6. We are a christian household who goes to church. I live with my grandpa, aunty, sister, mum and dad who are all mostly samoan. I am more to my Tongan side than my Samoan heritage.I have heaps of famous people that I am related to. Like Sione Lauaki who was an All Black, Joe Malafu who is a drummer and singer, Hame Lauaki who was also an All Black and 2 brothers who have a rapper name.

I am in room 4 and my teacher is Mrs Lagitupu who is Niuean and likes to express her culture. Our Team 5 teachers are Mr Moran, Mr Wiseman, Mrs Tipene, Mrs Ilaoa and Mrs Lagitupu (my teacher) Moving on…

My main sport I usually play is Rugby League. My favourite Rugby League Player in history was Jason Taumololo, too bad he retired. My favourite NRL team IN THE WORLD IS… THE COWBOYS!!! I support Queensland and if you support NSW you are not my friend.

My main goal for my future is to be a famous and wealthy Rugby League player who plays for Queensland, Tonga and the COWBOYS!!!! And if I can’t be a Pro NRL player I would like to be a Police man who helps people. And that is something about me.
